Subject: Error: XICONXDL cannot run in an OS/2 session

My first attempt at using the alpha version of ICON 9.0
under OS/2 Warp resulted in error messages to the effect that
ICONX and XICONXDL "cannot run in an OS/2 session".

Would this be due to incompatibilities between versions
of OS/2 or does it have something to do with the resource
compiler (my RC.EXE and RCPP.EXE are both dated Feb. 2, 1994).

When translating an .icn file, I get the following message
from RC:

"Writing resources to OS/2 v2.0 Linear .EXE file"
